I really enjoy strolling down the pedestrians only section of Stephens Avenue and looking at all of the people out there enjoying the scene. My destination for the night was The Libertine Public House who were throwing a craft beer cask ale event that I couldn’t pass up. When The Grizzly Paw Brewing Company is involved I tend to show up!
Stephens Ave is a pleasure to walk down, especially when your destination serves fresh craft beer!
A couple of Thursdays ago, I attended the “Beer Bash” at Willow Park, which craft beer fans should check out next year if they have not gone yet. I had a great time drinking different craft beers from all kinds of microbreweries and snacking on tasty food. However, the real highlight of the night for me was being able to talk to Big Rock Brewery’s Brewmaster, Paul Gautreau. Meeting Paul made me think about how much I like where he is steering Big Rock.

There are views and then there are VIEWS. Standing on the balcony at the Banff Inn and looking at the scenery, I could not be more content. Staring at the Rockies and anticipating my night of eating & drinking freshly brewed Alberta craft beers; I just could’t ask for more.
I found myself constantly looking up while strolling down Banff’s main street.
