It’s funny how you can find inspiration to write about something. I have been mulling over different article topics for weeks. Yet all that it took was having an eventful day and boom, I knew what I wanted to say. This might come across as pointless to some but I think that this day, which was focused on beer of course, is a good indicator of how much our beer scene has grown over the last couple of years.  I hope that you agree. Attitudes in the Alberta Craft Beer Scene

Alberta craft beer is in a period of rapid expansion. There has been an explosion of new local breweries opening up across the province. It is really exciting to witness this take place. However, I have noticed on social media and sometimes even in person, certain attitudes that I find detrimental to our local beer culture. Beer, Politics and the Economy

A lot of people have been asking me what my thoughts are on the recent changes that the Alberta NDP government has implemented; particularly those impacting beer and brewing. I’ve also noticed that there has been a lot of noise surrounding these changes in the media; some of it has been a little more emotional than factual.
